Leisure in Benicassim has it´s own name. Benicassim International Music Festival a.k.a. FIB. Since 1995 each year during the summer this town livens up with great bands.

The beach, nighlife, restaurants and cultural agenda with traditional festivities are also things to participate in. Don´t forget to visit the theme park, it´s theatre or movie theatres.

Benicassim every year has one of the main music dates in Europe. The International Music Festival of Benicassim also known as FIB. It takes place in this small municipality of Castellon in the Coast of eastern Spain each summer. It has welcomed famous groups such as Oasis, Underworld, Depeche Mode, or in past years grous like Stone Roses, Jesus and Mary Chain, Cranes, Silvania, Los Plantas, Suede, and Sain Etienne, Bjork, Pizzicato Five, Astrud, Massive Attack, The Cure, Manta Ray, Migala, Golfrapp, Fangoria, Polar, Pet Shop Boys, Brian Wilson and Devendra Banhart.

This city event has a larger group of young people come to visit each year. This music festival is year by year gaining worldwide noroiety.

As to what movies is concerened, Benicassim also has a small theatre/movie festival where new titles are projected to the public.

To cool off on hot summer days we highly recommend the aquatic park of Aquarama located in the outskirts of the city where you´ll have tons of fun. This aquatic park is usually open from June to September.

The nightlife is tons fun in Benicassim. You can enjoy a few beers or drinks in the many bars of this locality. Always drink responsibly and remember not to drink and drive.
